The key to integration is commitment
Full commitment is required not only by us, you and the hospital but also by your family since the integration process at Medicolink runs for at least 12 months. We customise our integration programme to suit the needs of each candidate and their family in the best possible way. At Medicolink, we consider the integration process a family business as it concerns all of you.
We work to establish and develop social and professional networks between you, other expatriates and Danish co-workers. We realise that integration is not only limited to the work place, therefore, the Medicolink integration process also includes candidates participating in social events with people from their local community.
There is more to integration than meets the eye
By the time you arrive in Denmark, you have been through extensive courses in Budapest to enable a smooth transition and easier integration process. This process have included a trip to Denmark to visit the area where you will live and work. The trip have also included an interview with both you and your family, sightseeing of the region and an introduction to different types of public institutions that you might enjoy. If you have children, kindergartens have been visited and/or schools in the town where you will live. Possibilities for leisure activites have also been sought out.
Later on in the process, after you have spent some time in Denmark and worked at the hospital for a while, in cooperation with the hospital we will arrange events in order to aid the integration process, such as:
- arranging social gatherings with Danish families. These might be barbecues, trips or picnics.
- setting up a telephone hotline that will serve to answer any questions that you might have concerning your new life in Denmark
- doing courses about Danish culture, nature, gastronomy and teaching you how to network through a number of workshops
