Question: Is it possible to learn Danish in five months?
Answer: Naturally, mastering Danish perfectly takes more than five months but we will equip you with the fluency that will be need in order for you to start your employment and communicate with colleagues in your new job.
Question: Do I have to pay for any of the services myself?
Answer: All expenses are paid by Medicolink provided that you have been accepted into the training program. We take care of all of your training needs including tuition, training and materials.
Question: Will my family get to learn Danish as well?
Answer: Yes they will! Medicolink believes that the success of integrating you into your new job and life in Denmark heavily depends on the welfare of the whole family. This is why we customise special training for you, your spouse and children.
Question: Is there a guaranteed position for me after the training period?
Answer: We only allow doctors to enter into the Medicolink program if they have been pre-approved for a position in Denmark. This means that there is a job waiting for all who has been accepted into the program.
Question: How will I make ends meet in the five-month training period?
Answer: Should you need it, we will provide accommodation for you in Budapest throughout the whole training period free of charge. If you live in Budapest, we will still cover all your living expenses during the training period.
Question: How much can I expect to receive in salary as a specialist doctor in Denmark and which further career opportunities are there?
Answer: As a starting base salary you will receive 50.177,79 kr.+ pay supplement for weekend, night and evening duties, so approximate 51.500 kr. gross per moth (approximately 7000 Euro), which is around 26000 kr. netto (3500 Euro netto). And it will properly be possible to take extra duties.

Will the salary as a specialist doctor in Denmark be enough alone to support a family with two children?
It will be possible for a family with two children to live a middle class live in Denmark for the specialist doctor’s salary alone.
Question: How much should we pay in taxes in Denmark?
Answer: You will have to pay approximately 43 % of your salary.
Question: How are the work conditions in Denmark?
Answer: 37 hours work-week, the duties will vary between day, night and evening. 6 weeks of paid vacation.

Question: What are the costs of housing in Denmark?
Answer: The prices varies dependent on which city you live in and which kind of house you want.
It will be more expensive to live in the bigger cities.
It will be possible to rent a house for a family with 2 children in the outskirts of Aalborg for around 7000 kr. per months.
The rent for a two bedroom apartment in Aalborg will be between 4000-6000 kr. per months.
It will be more expends to live in Copenhagen or Aarhus and cheaper in the smaller cities.
